Centre for Media and Communication
The ZMK is a central building unit equipped with state-of-the-art media technology. It provides ideal conditions for teaching, research, and practical work in the field of media production. All workshops offered as part of the Media Masterclass take place in this building. On this page, you will get an overview of the possibilities that the ZMK offers.
The building houses a television studio, sound studios, a newsroom, a professional editing room, and an e-learning laboratory. A video conferencing room complements the offering. Furthermore, students have access to a rental service that provides them with professional equipment for media production. This includes video cameras, cameras, audio equipment, lighting equipment, and much more.
In the course of 2023, a modernization and expansion of the media technology will take place. Among other upgrades, the TV studio will be expanded with VR/AR technology. Additionally, the equipment rental service will be upgraded with new cameras and lighting technology. In the future, our aspiring media professionals will produce content in 4K and HDR.
